Here is a recipe I followed from FORMS KITCHEN’s book: 京都午茶時光, and have downscale it for 1-2 person portion.

  • Matcha: 2 g
  • Sugar: 27.5 g
  • Water: 112.5 g
  • Agar Agar Powder: 0.5 g

To make is super simple, just sieve matcha power and mix with sugar, add water, agar agar continue mixing.

Heat up the content until boiling, then lower heat and cook another 2 minutes, keep stirring.

Pour hot content into container, and soak in cold water to cool down, then cover with cling wrap and put in fridge until ready to serve.
